Magento security: your store deserves proper protection
An online store should be a place where customers can shop with confidence. But outdated software, vulnerable extensions, insecure server configurations and malicious code can put that confidence at risk.
Whether your Magento store has already been compromised or you simply want to improve its security, I can help you understand the situation and take appropriate action.
I’ve been working with Magento since 2011. Over the years, I’ve dealt with technical problems of all kinds, including security vulnerabilities, suspicious code and outdated installations.
Sometimes the best defence starts with a careful look at what’s actually happening.
How I can help protect your Magento store
Has something unusual happened to your Magento store?
Security problems don’t always announce themselves clearly.
Sometimes a shop behaves strangely, redirects visitors to unexpected websites or displays content that nobody remembers adding.
In other cases, the first warning comes from a hosting provider, a customer or a security scanner.
Typical situations worth investigating include:
- Suspicious JavaScript or unexpected changes to checkout pages.
- Unknown files, scripts or administrator accounts.
- Unexpected redirects, spam content or unusual server activity.
- Outdated Magento installations, PHP versions or third-party extensions.
- Known vulnerabilities that have not yet been addressed.
- Repeated security warnings or indications of an earlier compromise.
Not every unusual symptom means your store has been hacked. But investigating a genuine warning is better than ignoring it.
What happens when you contact me?
I prefer a structured approach rather than making changes without understanding the underlying problem.
Magento 1 and Magento 2 security
I work with both Magento 1 and Magento 2 installations.
Older shops require particular care. Their technical environment, available security updates and dependencies may differ considerably from those of a modern Magento 2 installation.
Sometimes targeted improvements are appropriate. In other cases, a migration or broader modernization is the more sensible long-term decision.
My goal is to recommend a solution that fits your actual situation, not automatically turn every security question into a large development project.
There is no such thing as absolute security
Good security is an ongoing responsibility.
Magento experience and a practical approach
Security is closely connected to the rest of your Magento installation.
A vulnerability may involve an extension, custom code, PHP, the web server or the interaction between several components.
That’s why experience with the Magento platform itself matters.
I work independently and personally handle the technical analysis and development. You communicate directly with the person responsible for the work.
