If the Magento Connect Manager displays the error Invalid login credentials , your FTP credentials may have changed while the Connect Manager still has the old ones stored.

The simplest workaround is to delete or rename the file connect.cfg im downloader in the directory. When you next open the Magento Connect Manager, it will use your current FTP credentials and you should be able to access it again.
