If you see the message Purchase Code invalid when trying to activate the Porto theme in Magento 2, activation may fail. The solution is simple: open the file app/code/Smartwave/Porto/Helper/Data.php and replace “http” with “https” on line 88. Then enter your purchase code again and try to activate Porto.
The code should now look like this:
