Do you get the message Invalid input datetime format of value ’01.01.1970′ (the date format may vary, for example ’1/01/1970′) when saving a product in Magento 2 admin? Often the special-price dates in the product’s Advanced Pricing section are incorrect.
Open Advanced Pricing and remove or correct those date values. This can happen after a data migration, for example.
If that does not help, or many products are affected, you can also update the values directly in the database using this query:
Warning: Run at your own risk. Back up the database first, or test the query on a staging system.

UPDATE catalog_product_entity_datetime SET value = '2022-01-01 00:00:00' WHERE value LIKE '%1970-01-01%'; |
You should now be able to save products in your Magento 2 store again.
